Simon Cowell appears to be well on the road to recovery as he has been photographed on a shopping trip with his family.

In some new pictures posted by The Sun, Simon was spotted picking up supplies near his home in Malibu, California.
Joined by his partner Lauren and 6 year old son Eric, the family donned masks as they took a gentle stroll around an outdoor shopping centre.

Simon has been recovering from a serious bike accident in the summer which left him with a broken back.
After receiving surgery, he was ordered by doctors to rest and Simon cancelled all his work commitments for the foreseeable future.
He has been making good progress and was recently photographed at a Birthday party thrown by his ex girlfriend and family friend, Terri Seymour. However, Simon’s recovery has been tough at times with friends revealing he was close to being left paralysed.

Simon has been building up his strength by swimming and walking 10,000 steps a day. Looking like all his hard work has paid off, Simon looked relaxed as he walked around the stores with Lauren and Eric.
A source also told The Sun this week that Simon was determined not to miss his traditional winter break to Barbados. Although, Lauren has reportedly banned him from his usual jet skiing, the family are still hoping to celebrate Christmas on the stunning island.

We are so glad to see Simon up and about and looking so well! We look forward to welcoming him back to our screens soon!
