The Sun newspaper has launched a campaign to create a ‘Jabs Army’ of volunteers to help get the new COVID vaccine rolled out as quickly as possible.
The Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Simon Cowell have backed the launch of the appeal that hopes to get 15 million people vaccinated by March.
Simon added his support, saying: “The vaccine offers new hope for all of us for 2021 — and so anything that can support the roll-out plans must have all of our support and thankfulness.”
Other celebrities also got behind the idea to recruit 50,000 volunteers to assist at vaccine centres across the UK.

Boris called The Sun’s campaign a “fantastic initiative” and said: “The Sun’s campaign to help our NHS to roll out the UK vaccination programme as fast as possible is a fantastic initiative.
