Shocking news today as Simon Cowell is hospitalised after an accident on his new electric bike.
Simon was rushed to hospital on Saturday after falling from his new electric bicycle whilst taking it for a test drive at his house in Malibu.
A spokesperson confirmed the news saying: ‘Simon has broken his back and will be having surgery this evening,’
‘Simon had a fall from his bike on Saturday afternoon whilst testing his new electric bike in the courtyard at his house in Malibu with his family.
‘He hurt his back and was taken to the hospital. He’s doing fine, he’s under observation and is in the best possible hands.’
So far it is unclear how Simon’s injuries will affect his judging role on America’s Got Talent which is due to commence the live shows this week.

Oh Simon !!!!! I am so sorry that happened……I wish you a very speedy recover and hope and pray for no pain….at some point in my life I also had broken my back as it showed on x/r which was required for my school of nursing….they had to take my x/r before the college board for evaluation and they did accept me with one restriction – that I never life a patient by myself – I promised and I didn’t….but I had a 40 year nursing career before retiring …I thank God for that every day of my life…just be careful so you heal properly…praying for you….xxxooo
